EET

From 1 January 2027, payments made in person with the customer are recorded with the Czech tax authority (EET, electronic sales records): cash always, plus card or QR code payments on the spot. The app sends by itself:

• sales at the counter in the cash register, see Counter sales,
• cash the driver collects during deliveries, in Czech crowns only, see Deliveries and delivery notes.

Sales are signed with the brewery's certificate, which is why the owner sets up EET.

What you will need

• A login to DIS+ at mojedane.gov.cz, for example with a bank identity or a data box. The steps in DIS+ can also be done by your accountant, if you authorise them there.
• The brewery's VAT ID (DIČ) filled in under Settings → Brewery.
• About 15 minutes and a computer.

Setting up

In DIS+ you activate EET, create the establishments and generate a cash-register certificate. Then in the app, under Settings → Sales → EET, you:

1. upload the certificate file (.p12) with the password from DIS+,
2. fill in the establishment numbers: Counter, taproom (cash desk), and Delivery vehicle only if the driver collects cash from pubs,
3. click Check connection to EET.

The state will only launch the live EET server shortly before 1 January 2027. Until then, the connection check in the app says the server isn't running yet. You can upload the certificate already.

When EET doesn't respond

Sales don't stop. The sale waits and the app sends it again by itself. The law gives 48 hours from the sale to send it. EET has maintenance every Thursday from 8 pm to 6 am.

Sales EET hasn't confirmed yet are under Settings → Sales → EET in Unconfirmed sales. Pending ones are sent automatically. Rejected ones won't fix themselves: check the reason and click Send again.

The detail of each receipt in the cash register shows whether the sale has been confirmed.

Renewing the certificate

The certificate is valid for a year. A month before it ends, the app shows it in Settings. Generate a new one in DIS+ the same way as the first and upload it; the old one is replaced automatically.
