Orders
Take an order for a delivery day and see straight away whether the beer is in stock or will finish maturing in the tank.
An order belongs to a customer, a delivery place and a delivery day. The brewer or the owner takes it, because it carries selling prices. Add the customer first, see Customers and the price list.
Taking an order
- Open Orders in the menu and click New order.
- Choose the Customer, Delivery place and Delivery day.
- Use Add item to add lines: Beer, Package and Pieces.
- If needed, enter a One-off discount %. It applies to this order only, and only to goods, not to deposits.
- Click Take order.
If the place's route doesn't run on the chosen day, the app shows off route. You can still save it.
Prices
Prices are copied from the price list when the order is taken, minus the customer's permanent discount. Later price list changes don't touch them. If the price list doesn't have an item, enter the price by hand. All prices exclude VAT.
Availability
For each item the app shows how things will stand on the delivery day:
- in stock: the goods are in stock,
- maturing, from: the beer is in a tank and will be ready by the delivery day,
- short: the goods won't be there, with the number of pieces missing.
Taken orders hold their goods. An order with an earlier delivery day gets them first. You can take an order even with goods short.
Order status
- Received: can be edited, moved to another day or cancelled.
- Loaded: the driver has loaded it into the van.
- Delivered: the customer has received it and a delivery note was created.
- Cancelled: a cancelled order can't be restored.
A loaded order can be edited again after Back to received. Loading and delivery are covered in Deliveries and delivery notes.
Standing orders
For pubs that always take the same, go to the Standing tab and click New standing order. Orders are created from it automatically 14 days ahead, on the route days of the delivery place.
- How often: every route day, or, say, every second one.
- Pause (holiday): no orders are created on these days.
- Each created order gets prices from the price list valid on the day it's created and can be edited on its own.
A standing order needs a delivery place with a route.
