Counter sales
The cash register sells bottles, cans, kegs with a deposit and goods other than beer from the counter price list. Customers pay in cash or by QR code; a wrong receipt is cancelled.
The cash register is for sales at the brewery: bottles, cans, kegs with a deposit and goods other than beer. Staff and above can sell in a brewery with the sales module.
Before you start
- The owner creates the counter price list: in Price lists, the Counter tab. Prices include VAT, as the customer sees them on the board. Without it the cash register doesn't sell. More in Customers and the price list.
- Settings → Brewery must have the brewery's company ID and address; they are on every receipt.
- For QR payments, the brewery needs a bank account in Settings → Sales → Invoicing.
Selling
- Open Cash register in the menu, the Sale tab.
- Tap the goods. At the top you can filter Bottles, Cans, Kegs and Goods other than beer, or search by name. Each item shows how much is in stock.
- The goods go into the Basket. Change the number of pieces in the basket.
- Choose the Payment: Cash or QR code.
- Tap Paid — issue receipt. Print the receipt with Print receipt.
For a cash payment, enter what the customer gave you in Received and the register shows the Change.
If the customer wants a receipt to a company, fill in Receipt to a name or company. You can pick the company from the customer list. Above CZK 10,000 the receipt must carry the buyer's name.
Paying by QR code
The register shows a QR code with the amount. The customer scans it in their banking app and the payment goes by transfer from their account. The app cannot see the bank account: once the customer shows you the payment has been sent, tap Payment arrived — issue receipt.
Kegs and crates
- A Keg is sold as a specific keg, with the number from its label. The register offers the full kegs in stock and adds the deposit to the price.
- Return a keg: scan or type the number of an empty keg and the register pays out the deposit. Only empty kegs are returned. An untapped full keg is returned by cancelling the receipt it was sold on.
- A Returnable crate has a deposit from the counter price list. Return a crate pays out the deposit for a crate bought at the counter and for a crate from a pub.
Paying an invoice at the counter
When a publican comes to pay an invoice, tap Pay an invoice and find it by number or customer. It can be paid in cash or by QR code. The payment is recorded against the invoice automatically.
Receipts and cancelling
Today's sales are in the Today tab, older ones in the Receipts tab by month. The receipt detail has a receipt preview and a PDF.
A wrong receipt is never overwritten. On its detail, click Cancel. A negative receipt is created, the goods go back to stock and the kegs return to their state before the sale.
