Troubleshooting
An entry made without signal has not been sent yet
What to do when the app header shows entries waiting on the phone. Nothing is lost; they send themselves once there is a signal.
When there is no signal in the cellar, the entry is saved on the phone. The app says Saved on the phone. It will send itself once there is a signal. Until it is sent, the header shows, for example, 2 writes waiting.
When the entries are sent
The phone tries to send waiting entries by itself:
- when you open the app,
- when the phone reports it is connected again,
- when you wake the phone and return to the app.
So it is enough to leave the cellar and open the app. Once the note in the header disappears, everything has been sent.
If the note does not go away
- Check that the phone has mobile signal or Wi-Fi.
- Close the app and open it again.
- Stay signed in under your own name. Entries are only sent under the account of the person who made them.
While entries are waiting, do not clear the browser data or remove the app from the home screen. That is where the entries are stored.
What goes into the brew sheet
- The time you actually measured, not the time the entry was sent.
- Each entry only once, even if the phone sends it more than once.
- The entry belongs to the brewery where it was made, even if you switch to another one in the meantime.
Older numbers on the screen
Without signal, the app may show a screen stored earlier. You can tell by the message No signal · last loaded at and a time. Once the signal is back, tap Load again to see current numbers.
