Change history

Who changed what in the app and when, with the old and new value. Only the brewery owner can see it.

The app records changes to production data, recipes, vessels, stock, and accounts and access. The change history shows who changed what, and when. It is a tool for oversight, not a working screen.

Where to find it

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click the Change history tile.

Entries are listed newest first. The Older button takes you further back.

What each entry shows

  • When: the date and time of the change.
  • Who: the name of the person who made it. An entry made by the app itself is marked System. If the account has since been removed, the entry stays and is marked Deleted account.
  • What it concerns: for example a batch, a batch step, a recipe, a recipe version, a vessel, a material lot, a stock movement or brewery access.
  • What happened: Created, Changed or Deleted.
  • Changes: field by field, the old value struck through and the new one next to it. Field names are technical, exactly as they are stored in the data.

If the change carried a note, it appears underneath. For a cancelled batch, for example, you find the reason for cancelling there.

Filtering by area

At the top you pick an area: All, Production, Recipes, Vessels, Stock or Accounts and roles. The filter is part of the page address, so you can bookmark a particular view.

Who can see it

Only the brewery owner can see the change history. Brewers and operators do not have the tile in settings and cannot open the page.

What it is useful for

  • Finding out who edited a recipe, and when.
  • Checking who gave or removed someone's access to the brewery.
  • Seeing why a batch was cancelled.
