Connecting to your plant: three ways

GF Brew App needs no connection to your plant to work. The connection is an add-on. A brewery picks one of three ways and can move to another later.

Three ways

• Manual operation: operators enter values by phone; the app calculates, documents and evaluates. Suits any brewery, whoever supplied the brewhouse.
• Added sensors: we add temperature and pressure sensors and a Siemens communication gateway (IoT gateway) to your existing plant. Tank temperatures are recorded automatically; the rest is entered by hand.
• GF technology: in a brewhouse built by GF technologic the brew sheet writes itself. Temperatures, rest times, the course of fermentation and cleaning records come straight from the brewhouse control. Operators only add material lots and notes.

Other systems show you what you entered. With GF technology, GF Brew shows what actually happened.

The control system stays independent

The brewhouse and tanks are still run by their control system and operated from the panel at the plant. It does not depend on the app.

• An internet outage will not interrupt a running batch.
• Equipment operation and safety stay in the control system.
