QR labels and workstations

The QR label on a tank is the operator's main way into the app. Scanning it opens the reading form for that vessel. The vessel code is printed under the QR code, so it can be typed by hand if needed.

Labels for vessels

1. In the office app, open Vessels and click QR code labels.
2. Choose what to print: Vessels and equipment, Vessels only, Equipment only or Workstations only.
3. Click Print.

Labels are printed on A4 label sheets with 70 × 37 mm cells, 24 labels per sheet. Turn off margins in the print dialog and keep the scale at 100 %. Otherwise the QR code will not match the cell.

For a label printer, the same page has the buttons PDF landscape (80 × 60) and PDF portrait (60 × 80). They download a file with one label per page.

If a single label comes off, open the vessel's card and click QR label. Only that one label is printed.

Workstations

A workstation is a place in the brewery, such as the brewhouse or the cellar. Its label goes on the door. After a scan, operators see only the work for the vessels and equipment in that place.

1. Open Settings and, under Production, choose Workstations.
2. Fill in Code and Name and click Create workstation.
3. Tick the vessels and equipment that belong to the workstation and click Save assignment.
4. Click Print door labels.

A code has 2 to 12 characters: capitals, digits and a hyphen. You cannot change it later, because it is printed on the label. It must not match the code of a vessel, keg or lot.

A vessel that belongs to no workstation

That is fine. A workstation is only a shortcut. Operators still reach every tank through the Today screen or by scanning the label on the tank.

Workstations are set up by the brewer or the owner.
