Batch attachments

Photos and documents right on the batch, such as a malt certificate, a shot of the spent grain or a lab report. They belong to the batch production records.

You can attach photos and documents to a batch, such as a malt certificate, a shot of the spent grain or a lab report. Attachments are part of the batch production records, and you also find them in the Cooling protocol, which can be printed.

In the office

  1. Open the batch detail.
  2. Under Attachments choose a file.
  3. Optionally add a Description, such as "malt certificate, lot 2417".
  4. Click Add attachment.

On the phone on brew day

On brew day you add a photo straight to the step you are working on with Add a photo to this step. It is handy for a shot of the spent grain. The photo is resized on the phone before sending.

What you can upload

  • Photos in JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC.
  • Documents in PDF, such as a scanned certificate.
  • One file can be at most 10 MB.

Closed batches

Until the batch is closed, you remove an attachment with Delete.

Nothing is added to or removed from a closed batch. The batch record is production documentation, and what it holds after closing stays there.
